The study will research QuickDASH (the short form of DASH) which measures disability of the arm, shoulder, and hand – once a week for 6 weeks.
This is an observational, prospective, cohort study with an estimated enrollment of 200 participants. It includes an intervention of a mobile app that demonstrates hand therapy exercises and a group/cohort of giving all patients information about the mobile app to use during the recovery period for hand activity assistance.
- All sexes
- Ages 18 to 100 years old
- Patients undergoing carpal tunnel release, trigger finger release, distal radius fracture fixation, De quervain’s release, cyst excision, or finger fracture fixation
- Have a smart phone compatible with the app
- Participants who conflict with the inclusion criteria
